As David has grown his company over the last 25 years, he has been sought out by organizations such as the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and companies such as Schluter (leading Shower systems manufacturer in the world). In 2024, Schluter sought out Designhouse to handle a specific Sensor repair over a 3 state territory. In early 2026 the NKBA reached out to invite David Taylor to sit in the Communications chair on the local chapter board. During the Summer of 2026, David was one of 80 companies accross America and Canada to participate in a Kohler sponsored Mentor/Mentee program in which he mentored a 37 year old Engineer from Kenya who was in Design School in Canada. In September 2026 David was asked to consider presidency on the NKBA chapter board. David has been asked and has had the opportunity to speak and teach on behalf of the NKBA in local Colleges in front of Interior Design, Engineering, Architectural, and Construction Management students all accross North Carolina. To hear more about these incredible opportunities, his success, and/or why the NKBA is so important to this industry, please reach out to Designhouse today.
